Our College is firmly committed to advancing high-quality academic, research and fostering meaningful community engagement that contributes to sustainable development and educational excellence. Based on this, our mission as a College of Education is usually aims to prepare qualified, competent, and ethical teachers who can effectively teach in schools and contribute to improving the quality of education in their communities. This often includes;
Training teacher candidates in pedagogy, curriculum, and assessment;
Developing professional knowledge, skills, and values needed for classroom and community leadership; and
Supporting research, community service, and lifelong learning as part of educational development.
Our vision usually sets a goal for the college to become a recognized center of excellence in teacher education-producing educators’ who are;
Well-equipped to meet national educational standards;
Innovative in teaching and learning; and
Capable of contributing to the development of quality education regionally and nationally.
Therefore, as vice Dean of Academic Research and Community Service, I am pleased to support initiatives that encourage innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practices in education. Now a days, Academic and research at our college aims to address contemporary educational challenges, enhance teaching and learning practices, and contributing to regional, national and international scholarly discourse. We actively support members of our college and students in conducting impactful research, publishing in reputable journals, and participating in academic conferences.
Equally important is our role in community service. Our college strives to build strong partnership with schools, educational institutions, and community organizations to translate research findings in to practical solutions that serve society and promote lifelong learning.
We look forward to continued collaboration with researchers, educators, students, and community partners as we work together to achieve academic excellence and social responsibility.
