Overview

Moral Education is the process of teaching values, ethics and principles(Like, honesty, empathy and respect) to help individuals distinguish right from wrong , develop strong character and become responsible, compassionate member of society by encouraging ethical reasoning and pro-social behavior through methods like, stories and discussions. It aim to build personal integrity , foster good citizenship and provide tools for constructive problem solving, preparing students for life challenging and promoting more harmonious society. Based on the above point of view, our department set the following mission and vision to achieve the goal of department.

Mission of the Department

The mission of Moral Education Department is to cultivate individuals who possess a strong moral character and the ability to make ethical decision, ultimately enabling them to lead happy, meaningful lives and contribute positively to society.

Vision of the Department

The vision of the Moral department is to develop individuals with strong character, integrity, empathy, and sense of responsibility enable them distinguish right from wrong and contribute positively to society foster virtues like, Justice, Compassion and equipping them with ethical decision making for harmonious community.

Objectives of the Departments

The Departments is established to meet/ achieve the following objectives. So the core objectives of Moral Education Departments are;-

• Shaping the students personalities in to responsible and ethical individuals by instilling core values like, honesty, integrity, 
• Equipping individuals with moral compass to discern between right and wrong, analyze ethical dilemmas. 
• Teaching students to understand and share the feeling of other, appreciate diversity and build inclusive tolerant communities.
• Encourage the students to become active, engaged and responsible members of their communities and nation
• Provide skill to manage emotions, communicate effectively, resolve conflict peacefully and build healthy/ positive relationships.
• Guiding individuals toward building happy life by helping them navigate life complexes with resilience and positive self-image

• Through curriculum integration discussion and real-life application
• By educating serving as principles role model
• Via activities promoting reflection, community involvements cultural understanding
